Why you need a dressy low-heel

Even if you think you'll be taking cabs all over NYC, your friend might have a different idea. This happened to me recently! While I'm all in for public transport, I'm a big baby about trying to figure out another city's system. And, I love calling a cab. I can't think of another thing that I, a West Coast native, feel is more glamorous than hailing a cab. But not my friend. She loves the challenge of getting from point A to point B via subway or bus. A good day for her is when she's been able to use multiple sources of transport. Inevitably, you wind up walking a lot.

I saw lots of cute sneakers on women out and about in New York, but it's just not my thing. I need something that feels flirty and fun WITH A LOW HEEL - something I can wear with a dress, and that I can walk in. For the past several seasons I've been on a quest to find dressier low heels and flats. And I hear from so many of you that that particular combination can be hard to find. It's our goal to have a number of options in this category, and this sandal from Bettye Muller is a great example! Plus it adds a great pop of color to wear with your summer neutrals...
