As we get closer and closer to the end of the month, we've been busier than ever in preparation for the holidays. On Sunday December 10th, stop by the store in Pioneer Square for a special treat - mimosas and shopping! Our sister shop Swan Dive is thriving, too, with plenty of sparkly new arrivals perfect for your upcoming holiday or NYE party!
LISA B. SOCKS
Pam can't stop thinking about our favorite new line carried at Clementines - Lisa B. socks! After visiting our Pioneer Square shop while on vacation from Pennsylvania, we picked up these ultra-cozy, mega-adorable socks. Whether you like fair isle, polka dots, or something a bit more classic, there's sure to be a Lisa B. sock for you. A myriad of colors and designs come in both cotton and wool + cashmere blends. And at no more than $23 a pair, it makes the perfect gift for both you and your loved one!
PANTONE COLOR OF THE YEAR
After Pantone revealed Thursday "Ultra Violet" will be the 2018 Color of the Year, Jayma can't stop thinking about how to incorporate the bright hue into her wardrobe. Ultra violet was chosen "to evoke a counterculture flair, a grab for originality, ingenuity and visionary thinking," according to Pantone Vice President Laurie Pressman. If you want to get ahead of the trend, stop by the shop and try on the Chie Mihara Picoli boot, a super-soft, gorgeous boot with a stacked heel in the exact color you'll be obsessing over all next year!
J. PAIGE HANDBAGS
With the changing of the season comes swapping out wardrobe favorites including coats, shoes, and handbags. Especially around the holiday season, Lauren is always looking for a bag that she can wear day to night, including the nights one might go for a celebratory holiday drink(s). When she walked into the shop and saw the new line of J. Paige handbags she was hooked. All her handbags are handmade on Bainbridge Island and crafted from right-to-the-touch-you-know-it's-good-leather. It's so fun and empowering to shop small and support local businesses whenever you can. J. Paige makes it so easy to do so.
THEATER ANONYMOUS PRESENT IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE
If you like your holiday classics with a bit of surprise, Stephanie recommends looking no further than Theater Anonymous's staging of It's a Wonderful Life on December 9. Hosted by Seattle favorite the 14/48 Projects, this popular event presents the classic Frank Capra film with a secret group of actors, meaning no one knows the cast - not even the cast! Who's playing George? Mary? Mr. Potter? You'll just have to go to find out! The show begins at 8pm with a pre-show reception at 6pm at the Cornish Playhouse in Seattle Center.
